Hello!

As some of you may know, this is not my first blog. I started a blog last school year, but by the time summer time rolled around my schedule actually got busier and unless I got up at 5:45 to blog or stayed up late to write, it was not going to get done. Well, since I value my sleep...a lot, blogging went out the window unfortunately. So, I started to pick it up again and hopefully make it a long-term deal. I like writing, I like reading others posts as well; it's relaxing and I need that, so therefore I will do it :)
A couple things...on Mondays I will have something called "Maxim Mondays". In the dictionary, 'maxim' means an expression of a general truth or principle. I am currently a college student and my day consists of TONS of reading. However, I look forward each day to doing my devotions and reading an inspirational, good and strong Christian book as well. On Mondays, I will share what I have been reading and what has stuck out to me.
One thing that I struggle with is always being thankful; I am trying really hard to learn that everything happens for a reason and to just be happy about it. And not just be happy, but also thank God for everything He has done. So, Thursdays will be known as "Thankful Thursdays". I will share something that I am thankful for and feel free to share as well!
Also, this school year, I have seen myself really grow spiritually. I find new things about God and His Word that I never have in my 13 years of being a Christian. "Scripture Sunday" I will reflect on what God has been teaching me and hopefully be an encouragement to you too.
